Week 2
The Brown Paper Bag Activity was a real eye opener. I learned things I didn't know about my teammates. First of all, I hadn't realized how much my teammate Ana valued friendship. Also, I realized how much my teammate Shane had pride and integrity.
My experience in creating my Purpose, Vision, and Mission Statement helped me realize how much I care about helping others and how important it actually is to contribute and the impact it can make in people's lives.
By reaching out to organizations this week, I expect to encounter people who are willing to help our cause and help us reach our goal.

My experience using the MAD (Make a Difference) cards was great. I learned about many organizations that are out there in order to help all sorts of people in various situations. Also, I realized how much there is a need to contribute to these organizations in order to get results.
I noticed something I didn't have clear in my mind, and that was the urge and desire to help others and contribute to making a difference in the world.
I hope to gain more knowledge about different organizations out there and have a feel for being the best I can be for my peers and everyone surrounding me from participating in the Main Street Philanthropy Program.
